Peachtree GA

Can anyone give me a true review of some apartments in peachtree city area, GA?

I'm now in California and plan to move in to Newnan or Peachtree City GA in a few month. I have never been there and have no idea of where to live. If anyone living or having lived in that area could give me some advise or recommention to find a apartment, it would be a BIG help. Thanks everyone!

1. Suburban Atlanta is an Ok place to live, I guess. Compared to California the rents are extremely reasonable. I wouldn't know where Peachtree City is... every other street in Atlanta is named Peachtree.
2. Amli at Kedron Village and Amli Peachtree City are both nice apartments. They are probably the most expensive of the apartments here though. They are both located off of HWY 74. Amli PTC is located near Kroger & Target - it's actually within walking distance. PTC is very much a family community, so if you're single, there's not much to do here. I work with some singles that moved to PTC and then hated it becuase it is so family oriented. They have all ended moving closer into Atlanta in the Decatur areas. 3. I actually live in Peachtree City and the best apartments I know of are Camden apartments or Amli apartments. Try to avoid the Harmony Village or Balmoral apartments. If you decide on Newnan, go for the Preston Mills apartments (theyre really nice!). I would suggest Peachtree City over Newnan. Newnan is a bit congested and Peachtree City has better school systems and extremely nicer people. I hope this helps!!

Here's whatcha do: Go to www.apartmentratings.com and search around the area (you may need to put in a zip code of the general area you're considering) and you'll find a list of all the surrounding complexes, complete with real reviews from current and former residents! Don't let the negative reviews scare you TOO much though...some people can find anything to complain about!!! =)
