Council defers bond vote, hears plan to pave 16 streets Tuesday, July 19, 2011 @ 8:04AMQuestions about interest rates and specific bond wording last week led council to defer the decision to place the two 30-year bonds for parks on the November ballot. One bond is intended for the acquisition of parks land and the other is for improving existing parks. Council is expected to approve the amended resolution at its next work session July 25.
